Randy Satterlee: Chief Executive Officer
With a passion for creating customer-focused solutions with paradigm-shifting business impact, Randy Satterlee is a telecommunications pioneer and the Co-Founder of VanRan. Her unique customer service model providing individualized solutions, best in class technology and services tailored to each customer’s specific requirements continues to be a central theme within the VanRan organization.
Prior to starting VanRan, Randy was in the Executive Development Program for AT&T. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Iverson Genetics as well as the Atlanta Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Randy has a Master’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio State University. She has been a guest speaker at local colleges and high schools on entrepreneurship and previously served on the Telecommunications Committee for Gwinnett Technical College. She is also a member of Global Executive Women and the Woman’s President’s Organization.
Megan Satterlee: President
Promoted to President of VanRan Communications in 2008, Megan combines a unique combination of big picture vision and logical thinking resulting in the introduction of new technologies and innovative solutions to the organization ensuring customers achieve top resources, experiences, and outcomes.
Megan joined VanRan in 2000 and progressed through the organization holding executive and management positions in Sales, Engineering, Operations and Business Development. She is currently Avaya certified in Sales and Design for the entire Avaya product line.
Megan is an explorer at heart as evidenced by her travels, cooking, sports and business. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics and Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Ron Bohannon: Vice President of Technical Sales
Ron Bohannon is a results driven Technology and Network Engineering industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience working with both large and small enterprise customers. In his role as VP of Technical Sales, Ron seeks to enhance customer experiences through portfolio enhancements as well as operational tools
Prior to joining VanRan in 2005, Ron held Senior System Engineering roles with Nortel Networks and Timeplex where he helped design and implement DSL and IP Services for Bell South.
Ron reads more than 3,000 pages a week exploring technology information, trends, and breakthroughs. He currently holds various technical certifications with Avaya and Genband and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Florida Southern College.
Danny Nieves: Chief Technology Officer
Eric Jones: Director of Sales
Eric previously worked as a Senior Account Executive for one of the world’s largest privately held companies and brings over 13 years of experience in consulting. With
that, he brings the skills to organizations to identify areas of opportunity to better help customers both operationally and financially. He has experience in capital and operating
budgets, accounting/tax implications, operational efficiency/control, total cost of ownership (TCO), and a proven track record of superior customer service. Eric has a Bachelor’s
degree in Management and Marketing from the University of Evansville. While at Evansville, he was a 4 year starter on their Division 1 baseball team, and led them to their first
ever Missouri Valley Conference Championship in 2006. Prior to that, Eric played baseball for Team USA in Australia in 2000 and the Chicago White Sox scout team in 2002.
Eric brings this same competitive drive and teamwork to the office each and every day. His passions outside of work include sports, wake surfing, traveling, and racing/collecting
cars. Eric is very involved with the community as one of his side companies, JONESN4SPEED, organizes events to pair wounded warriors and service veterans, across the
nation, with a ride of their lives in an exotic car. He is able to do this for these amazing men and women, while raising money for a variety of non-profit organizations that strive to
help with PTSD and other important issues facing our veterans. Eric truly has a passion for helping others and extracting the best out of everyone around him.
