Randy Satterlee: Chief Executive Officer
With a passion for creating customer-focused solutions with paradigm-shifting business impact, Randy Satterlee is a telecommunications pioneer and the Co-Founder of VanRan. Her unique customer service model providing individualized solutions, best in class technology and services tailored to each customer’s specific requirements continues to be a central theme within the VanRan organization.
More About Randy
Prior to starting VanRan, Randy was in the Executive Development Program for AT&T. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Iverson Genetics as well as the Atlanta Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Randy has a Master’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio State University. She has been a guest speaker at local colleges and high schools on entrepreneurship and previously served on the Telecommunications Committee for Gwinnett Technical College. She is also a member of Global Executive Women and the Woman’s President’s Organization.
Megan Satterlee: President
Promoted to President of VanRan Communications in 2008, Megan combines a unique combination of big picture vision and logical thinking resulting in the introduction of new technologies and innovative solutions to the organization ensuring customers achieve top resources, experiences, and outcomes.

Megan joined VanRan in 2000 and progressed through the organization holding executive and management positions in Sales, Engineering, Operations and Business Development. She is currently Avaya certified in Sales and Design for the entire Avaya product line.
Megan is an explorer at heart as evidenced by her travels, cooking, sports and business. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics and Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Ron Bohannon: Vice President of Technical Sales
Ron Bohannon is a results driven Technology and Network Engineering industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience working with both large and small enterprise customers. In his role as VP of Technical Sales, Ron seeks to enhance customer experiences through portfolio enhancements as well as operational tools

Prior to joining VanRan in 2005, Ron held Senior System Engineering roles with Nortel Networks and Timeplex where he helped design and implement DSL and IP Services for Bell South.
Ron reads more than 3,000 pages a week exploring technology information, trends, and breakthroughs. He currently holds various technical certifications with Avaya and Genband and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Florida Southern College.
Danny Nieves: Chief Technology Officer
Danny maintains over 20 years of expertise across the technology and telecommunications industries. His professional per-view spans roles overseeing complex projects, new avenues of technology utilization to deployments considered too difficult or wholly stalled. Danny has evolved his professional focus since working in telecommunications from consulting with Citi Wealth Management, Vonage to overseeing acquisition processes of Legg Mason (into Smith Barney). He brings a wealth of knowledge to ‘cloud management’ having worked around VoIP cloud-based services prior to ‘cloud’ being coined a term; including official certifications such as virtualization with VMWare (VCP), MCSE and MCP with Microsoft, infrastructure with ITIL, CompTIA, A+, Network+ and Linux+.

Danny started in technology at an early age, learning to type before he ever held a pencil. He is a passionate PC hobbyist, subsequently working in computer repair and sales from the age of 12, and continues to help youth becoming more educated with computers and programming today.
Eric Jones: Director of Sales
Eric brings over 13 years of experience in consulting, capital and budget/ tax program oversight, operational efficiency with a proven track record of superior customer service. His prior tenure includes executive leadership for one of the world’s largest privately held companies. Eric showcases a Bachelor’s degree in Management & Marketing from the University of Evansville. His time in Evansville encompasses his love for baseball where Eric as a 4 year Division 1 starter, leading the team to their first Missouri Valley Conference Championship. Eric also proudly represented Team USA in Australia 2000 games along with Chicago White Sox organization.

Eric maintains this same competitive spirit in his every day passion for adventure. He is an avid car collector and enjoys racing supercars. This sense of adventure is represented in wake surfing, traveling, along with community involvement as one of Eric’s side companies (JonesN4Speed) in organizing events to pair wounded warriors and service veterans nationwide with a ride of their lives in an exotic sports car. The chartable contributions generated support a variety of non-profit organizations that strive to help veterans and family facing issues of PTSD.
